Viewing the ADHD Vibes

As Detective Monk often says, his OCD is a blessing and a curse. As a young adult with ADHD, I try to explain to ‘normal’ people what it is like to live with my ADHD – my very own blessing and a curse – every day. There are characteristics that are common to all of us with ADHD, but how we live with it at different stages of life varies. Here are some videos and a link that show the different aspects of ADHD life as children and adults. The last video is about an ADHD medicine but it does give descriptions of how medication impacts ADHD traits.

This link is of an interview of two kids. One has ADHD the other does not. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IO6zqIm88s

This one is a more comprehensive interveiw of two adults with ADHD interview after having a doctor’s diognosis.

Lastly, here’s a humourous view of attention issues that are common with ADHD people. Personally, I experience a lot of the events that are portrayed here especially the part where the lady leaves her phone on the windowsill.

  1. I absolutely love your blog and find most of your post’s
to be what precisely I’m looking for. Would you offer guest writers to write
content in your case? I wouldn’t mind publishing a post or elaborating on most of the subjects you write in relation to
here. Again, awesome web site! http://Hatchsandwich.com/

    1. Thanks for reading my posts, however, I am required at this time to write the content myself for class purposes. But, if you would like to make a couple of suggestions, I would not mind reading them in the comments. Thanks.

  2. I really love your site.. Pleasant colors & theme.
Did you make this site yourself? Please reply
back as I’m attempting to create my own blog and
want to know where you got this from or what the theme is named.
    Kudos!

    1. I just used one of the WordPress themes based on how and what I wanted to lay out my posts as. I made a plan of what type of posts I wanted in what order and then I tested a little bit of each different template I thought might work and settled on one that was sutible for me. I hope this helps. Please feel free to check out my other posts and let me know what you think of them.

  3. Hi there! I know this is kind of off topic but I was wondering
which blog platform are you using for this website? I’m getting sick and tired
of WordPress because I’ve had issues with hackers and I’m
looking at options for another platform. I would be great if you could point me in the direction of a good platform.

    1. I don’t know of any that might be any better for the price. However, I haven’t had issues with hackers as I have spam, but best advise is to be discerning with whom you reply to in the comments area, that might help with preventing hacking issues. Please feel free to check out my other posts and let me know what you think of them.

    1. Thanks for visiting my site, please feel free to check out my other posts as well. I ususally have a basic outline and what I want to talk about it under the main points. There are many ways to relax before writing something up for the public eye but the best thing I have found for myself is a long walk in a calm and quiet place such as a park or in the country side. I hope that helps. If you want to get ideas for what to write or how to start it ask some friends what they think about the topic and then use that to see what you want to say about it for yourself. Check out my other posts! Have a great day.

when viewing from my iphone4. I’m trying to fin a template or plugin that might
be able to resolve this issue. If you have any suggestions, please share.
    Cheers!
